As a Valley resident I’ve been really interested in the recent little revival of some of these mid-century homes. The upcoming Getty exhibition on postwar architecture in L.A. "Overdrive: L.A. Constructs the Future, 1940-1990,” opening in April 2013, will show several of Krisel’s drawings, including my favorite Valley tract. "Overdrive" is part of Pacific Standard Time Presents: Modern Architecture in L.A., a collaboration of exhibitions and events throughout the city this spring.
