Vija Celmins Studio

After spending her first couple of years in Los Angeles living in Beverly Hills with a roommate, Vija Celmins moved to an apartment at this location in Venice, which she rented for 65 dollars a month. This became the artist’s studio for nearly 20 years, before she moved to New York in the early 1980s.
