Allan McCollum Studio

In 1970, artist Allan McCollum moved into a studio space at 11-C Brooks Avenue in Venice, at the corner of Brooks and Speedway. He shared the building with several other artists, including Patrick Hogan, David Deutsch, and Chuck Arnoldi. Later, artists Chris Burden and Eric Orr also took studios in this building. It was here that McCollum began work on his Constructed Paintings. McCollum moved to New York in 1975.
