Norman Zammitt Studio

In 1972, while working in his studio at this location over Pasadena’s Loch Ness Pub, artist Norman Zammitt shifted his focus back to painting—this time exploring abstraction. He began a series of monumental striped paintings that built upon the color relationships that he had explored in his acrylic resin sculptures of the 1960s. He kept his studio at this location until 1974.
