Norman Zammitt Studio

In 1974, artist Norman Zammitt moved his studio to this new location in Pasadena, which had formerly been a dance studio. It was here that Zammitt painted North Wall, which is part of a series of monumental striped paintings he began in 1972. These works built upon the color relationships that he had explored in his acrylic resin sculptures of the 1960s.
