On View at the Getty Center: Greetings from L.A.: Artists and Publics 1950-1980
First opened as Eyraud-Barnes in 1967, the Molly Barnes Gallery showed a number of artists, including John Baldessari, George Herms, and, in 1969, the comedian Steve Martin. Baldessari had participated in exhibitions through San Diego and Greater L.A., but this was his first one-person show.
