On View at the Getty Center: Greetings from L.A.: Artists and Publics 1950-1980
As part of three days of artist-led protests against the Vietnam War, the Artists Protest Committee organized a peaceful silent demonstration by about 500 artists at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Their goal was to inform Sunday museum-goers of their cause without creating a disturbance.
