The Peace Tower, a massive artistic protest against the Vietnam War, was a beacon for peace located on the corners of La Cienega and Sunset Boulevards. It also featured hundreds of paintings sent by artists from around the world. Originally meant to hang from the tower itself, the paintings were displayed in a continuous curtain around it.
