David Hockney Studio

Beginning in the 1970s, David Hockney’s studio was located near the intersection of Santa Monica Boulevard and Gardner Street in what is now West Hollywood. He would drive to his studio from his home in the Hollywood Hills, and this daily car trip inspired several of the artist’s later paintings.
