Stone Brothers Printing was the printing workshop and home of Robert Alexander for a brief period beginning in 1957. Run jointly by Alexander and Wallace Berman, its frequent visitors included poets Alexander Trocchi and David Meltzer, and artists Cameron, Ed Moses, Craig Kauffman, Billy Al Bengston, and George Herms. The shop hosted poetry readings as well as performances by Rachel Rosenthal’s Instant Theatre troupe, for which Alexander produced printed mailers, announcements, and programs.
