On View at the Getty Center: Greetings from L.A.: Artists and Publics 1950-1980
With encouragement from Wallace Berman, Russel Tamblyn experimented with a range of media, including collages, paintings, films, assemblages, artist books, and handmade postcards. Book 1 incorporates photocollage and a cryptic system of writing to create a mystical version of an artist’s book.
