I am the chair of the creative writing department at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. My two most recent books are the poetry collection Vermeer in Hell, which won the 2012 Lexi Ruditsky Editor’s Prize from Persea Books, and a memoir, Travels in Vermeer, just released also from Persea Books.
