I’m a 2016 Multicultural Undergraduate Intern in the Getty Museum’s Education Department. My internship focuses on creating multimedia resources for teachers to use in their classroom to help them teach students about art using the Getty collection. I’ve been interested in creative writing since I was 11 years old and have pursued that passion actively: I was an active member of the Poetry Club for all four years of high school, have participated in two UCLA-sponsored writers’ retreats at Lake Arrowhead, have taken several creative writing courses in college, have had multiple works published in anthologies, and have performed original poetic pieces at places such as the Greenway Court Theatre and Paramount Studios. I have a passion for teaching and creative expression with the dream of one day having a classroom of my own where I can nourish that same desire in my own students.
