About: Andrew Westover

I'm an associate education specialist at the J. Paul Getty Museum. Currently, I work with K-12 educator professional development and in-gallery experiences for all audiences. As an educator, I like to ask: am I fostering empathy, inquiry, critical discourse, and/or meaning making between the museum and its public? If so, then I'm on the right track!

One summer, two painters, a new world of art making.

Manet Paints Monet journeys through the summer of 1874 in a little town on the Seine. Both worked on developing their individual styles, which you might notice in the galleries here.

#NowReading is a series with @gettypubs that celebrates books, reading everywhere, and art.
