About: Chrysanthe Pantages

I'm a Greek-American artist and classicist currently completing my second year at UCLA. Originally from the Santa Barbara area, her family, community, and academic and artistic adventures first inspired her to double major in these fields. Chrysanthe loves integrating her Greek heritage into her studies, whether by participating in archaeological digs in Greece or by exploring the dynamic between Byzantium and the Greek world.

Head flasks were a trend starting in the 1st century A.D.

A little taller than 6 inches, this young man’s head could be filled with any liquid.
