I'm a fourth-year student in the Art History Department at UCLA. I worked as a production designer for over twelve years, have traveled extensively, and have an ongoing interest in antiquities. Now, my exposure to the Byzantine experience has assisted in rounding out my aesthetic education. I'm fascinated by the role of jewelry in Byzantine culture, as well as its design elements; both influence my own ideas about contemporary jewelry design.
