On View at the Getty Center: Greetings from L.A.: Artists and Publics 1950-1980
A follow up to an in-depth statistical analysis of the divergent treatment of male and female artists in art criticism, “Selected Press Reaction” presented the various responses from print media sources about sexism in the art world. June Wayne, who founded the Tamarind Lithography Workshop, worked through various channels to promote equal treatment of women as professional artists.
