Arranging the table’s objects as a group in preparation for a still life collage is an excellent way to get students to share their thoughts and ideas in a meaningful way. It’s a great opportunity for students to incorporate the use of prepositional phrases in their language which will then be transferred over to their writing. I can definitely see myself doing this exercise with my students.
