I hope to use the picture of the Hare for my third grade lesson. I hope to use it for City Wildlife. I love all of our classes and facilitators.

I will take two pieces of track board (8 x 10) I will have students put a sploch of red, yellow and blue on one of the pieces. They will then put the other piece on top of these primary colors and move them around. This will produce secondary colors. They will then use book binding tape on one side of the long edge. This will provide hands on learning about primary and seconcary colors. As in the article it is much better to learn by doing.

Art is without vitality, those pleasures that are experienced in the body, heart, soul, mind and spirit,if our efforts to create lacks discovery and meaning making. What Sandy R. communicated during our art activities was to have “fun” and not to impose the dead weight of thou art is right or thou art is wrong. While having fun without censoring, lines were no longer just lines but there was a newness; lines became light, soft… bold. These lines transformed into different shapes. Oh, my! Now there’re curves. Like the curves
of an apple. Like the delicate curves that I know of my wife’s shoulders, and the small of her back… and the full curve of her belly and her hips. Gotta go.ft

i want to thank everyone connected with the July 2010 ALA week at the Getty. I enjoyed each day for the wonderment and knowledge given to me. I left on Friday feeling a part of the Getty. I can’t wait to come with my school and class.

i would like to appreciate everyone associated with the July 2010 ALA week on the Getty. I actually loved every day for the wonderment and understanding provided to me personally. I still left on Friday experiencing a piece of the Getty. I simply cannot hold out to come along with my university and course.
